Our ingredients are selected through a rigorous and deliberate process to source the most premium and authentic raw materials from Afghanistan. We partner with regions renowned for centuries-old cultivation traditions, exceptional flavor profiles, and superior natural quality.
We use heirloom almonds that have been preserved and cultivated for generations. These almonds are prized for their rich taste, dense nutritional profile, and naturally high oil content.
Our pistachios are sourced from regions known for producing some of the world’s finest wild pistachios, celebrated for their bold flavor, aromatic qualities, and natural sweetness.
Our saffron is sourced from a region internationally recognized for its exceptional quality. It has consistently ranked among the top saffron origins worldwide for multiple years, based on criteria such as color strength, aroma, and purity.
We select premium Afghan raisins known for their natural sweetness, full-bodied flavor, and rich texture—free from artificial sweeteners or processing aids.
Certifications and Standards
Yes. Our products are made using organically grown ingredients and traditional farming practices that avoid synthetic chemicals, in alignment with international organic principles.
Due to geographical and technical challenges, our products are not yet USDA Organic certified. We will update you once certification is obtained.
Yes. Our products are certified non-GMO, ensuring they are free from genetically modified organisms in accordance with international non-GMO standards.
We are Halal certified, ensuring compliance with Islamic dietary laws. Additionally, we hold HACCP certification for hazard analysis and critical control points in food safety, and ISO certification for quality management systems, all aligned with international standards.
Texture & Oil Separation
Natural oil separation can occur because we avoid palm oil and heavy stabilizers. This is a common trait of minimally processed, clean-label nut butters.
Sunflower lecithin improves texture but does not fully prevent separation like palm oil. A quick stir restores the original consistency.

Are Walmond products gluten-free?
Yes. All Walmond nut butters are gluten-free
Yes. Our clean formulations make them an excellent choice for families. However, as with all nut-based products, they are not suitable for individuals with nut allergies.
